Where to Buy a Genuine Puffco

Puffco makes the most advanced electric rigs on the market, and a Peak Pro or a Proxy is a serious piece of equipment to own. When you buy a puffco product you absolutely need to be sure it is authentic and purchased from an authorized retailer. Puffco does not authorize resellers on online marketplaces, so a unit bought there arrives with no warranty behind it and no recourse when something fails. Everything on this page is sourced directly from Puffco, so every device carries its full manufacturer warranty. Keeping One Running

Fill the glass through the mouthpiece to just above the perc holes, with the glass off the base, and keep water out of the lower section entirely. Overfilling is the most common way one of these gets damaged. Swab the chamber with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol while it is still warm, and for a deep clean soak the chamber in 90%+ ISO for around twenty minutes and let it air dry completely. Where can I buy a genuine Puffco?

Direct from Puffco or from an authorized retailer. Only purchases through authorized channels qualify for the warranty.

Will Puffco honor a warranty on a unit bought from Amazon, eBay or Walmart?

No. Puffco states it does not authorize resellers on online marketplaces like Amazon, eBay or Walmart, and products bought from unauthorized sellers are not covered by the warranty.

What does Puffco's warranty cover?

Puffco covers new devices for two years unless otherwise specified, and the electronic base and battery for one year unless otherwise specified. Chambers are covered too, for shorter periods: around six months on Peak 3D, Proxy 3D and Peak Pro 3DXL chambers, and around one month on Pivot, OG Proxy, OG Peak, Peak Pro 3D and Plus chambers. Glass, normal wear and damage from misuse are excluded. Keep your proof of purchase and check Puffco's current terms, since they change.

How do I file a warranty claim?

Start the claim at Puffco's warranty page or by emailing Puffco support. You will need the original receipt from an authorized retailer, and Puffco issues an RMA number before anything is sent back.

Which Puffco should I choose: Peak Pro, Peak, Proxy or Pivot?

Peak Pro is the flagship smart rig, with the largest chamber capacity and full app control. Peak is a simpler, more compact smart rig. Proxy is a modular base that fits different glass bodies. Pivot is the portable dab pen. Choose on how much water filtration, capacity and app customization actually matter to you.

What is the 3DXL chamber and how does it differ from the standard 3D?

3DXL is a high capacity version of Puffco's 3D sidewall-heated chamber, around 78% larger, designed to produce roughly twice the vapor while keeping flavor. It also reduces reclaim and unlocks enhanced controls in the app.

Is the 3DXL compatible with every Peak Pro?

Yes, the 3DXL chamber is compatible with all Peak Pro models. Puffco lists a firmware update as required, so update through the app before first use.

Is the XL Joystick Cap compatible with other chambers?

No. The XL Joystick Cap fits the 3DXL chamber only.

How much water goes in the glass?

Remove the glass from the base, then fill through the mouthpiece to just above the perc and air holes. Keep water out of the lower section of the base entirely. Reattach by aligning the glass inlet hole with the chamber.

My Peak Pro is flashing red and white. What does that mean?

That pattern usually indicates a chamber connection error. Remove the chamber, clean the contacts, and deep clean the chamber by soaking it in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol, never water, then let it air dry completely before reattaching.

How should I clean the chamber and glass?

Let the device cool first. Use cotton swabs with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol on the chamber, and for a deep clean soak it in 90%+ ISO for around twenty minutes and air dry fully. Never use water on the chamber. Remove the glass from the base before cleaning it and keep liquid away from the electronics.

How often should I replace the chamber or atomizer?

It is a wear item. Replace it when performance drops off despite routine cleaning: slower heat-up, muted flavor, or persistent connection errors are the usual signs.

I am getting weak vapor or none at all. What should I check?

Check the water level, clean the chamber and cap, try a higher heat setting, and avoid overloading the bowl. If the light is flashing red and white, treat it as a chamber connection problem and clean the contacts.

Do I need the Puffco Connect app?

No. The device works out of the box through the single button interface. The app is optional but worth having, since it customizes temperature, session time and lighting, and enables features like Ready Mode with the Power Dock.

How do I pair a Peak Pro with the app on iPhone or iPad?

Install the Path Browser from the iOS App Store, open puffco.app inside Path Browser, then follow the on-screen steps to pair over Bluetooth and reach custom heat profiles.

What is Ready Mode?

Ready Mode lets you pick the Peak Pro up and draw without pressing the button. Pair the device in the app and set it on an official Power Dock to enable it.

Can I charge a Peak Pro on a third-party Qi pad?

Peak Pro supports Qi wireless charging, so third-party pads may charge it. Only the Puffco Power Dock adds Ready Mode and doubles as a portable power bank.

Is Peak glass compatible with both Peak and Peak Pro?

Yes. Puffco lists Peak Glass as compatible with both. Chambers and atomizers are not interchangeable between devices, so match those to the device you own.

Are Proxy accessories compatible with Peak or Peak Pro?

No. Proxy is a separate modular system, and its glass bodies and accessories are not designed to fit Peak or Peak Pro.

What temperature should I start on?

Start lower for flavor and step up in small increments for density. If you are using the app, fine-tune both temperature and duration until you find the balance you prefer. Most people start too hot and work back down.

How do I reduce reclaim and spills into the airpath?

Keep the water just above the perc holes rather than higher, avoid overloading the bowl, and clean on a regular schedule. The 3DXL's deeper bowl also helps reduce reclaim.

Any setup tips before the first session?

Charge it fully, remove the glass to fill it with water, keep water out of the base, align the glass inlet with the chamber when reattaching, and start on a lower heat setting before dialing it in.
