It has a good ratio so it gives a real smooth head you have to empty it about every six bowl packs As the water becomes contaminated with smoking particulates . I don't like metal bowls so I took a wooden bowl and I put some electrical tape on a glass bowl to fit inside the wooden bowl which is removable. That way I don't have to unscrew the wooden bowl all the time or have a whole bunch of gross mung in the bottom of the pipe from the metal bowl
