Enhance your space with this artistic 16" Fumed Long Neck Bubble Bong from Attaglass! Standing a strong 16" tall and 5.5" at its widest, this water pipe is crafted with fumed glass, which will become more vibrant with use, in a stack of bubbled sections. Each pipe is swirled with color to complement or contrast the fumed glass in its construction, but the colored swirls are few and far between to really show off the fuming.
All of our soft glass water pipes have a built-in glass downstem and come with a 9mm glass slide bowl to use it right away!
Made with Color Changing Fumed Glass
Glass Fuming is a glass-making process where a metal like gold or silver is placed between the artist's torch and the glass piece. The torch vaporizes the metal and infuses the pipe with the element, giving it a soft hue. Silver, used in this piece, gives the glass, ironically, a golden yellow hue. Gold will give glass a brilliant red color. Through use and the build-up of resin, the color will appear to change from one to another; in the case of this bong its golden yellow hue will transform to a blueish silver. When you want to revert back, simply wash it out and the bong will look like it did when you bought it!

Every 16" Fumed Long Neck Bubble Bong is made with fumed glass and complemented with swirls of color. Such colors include Black, Green, and Blue, among others. You can request a specific color using the "Preferred Color" option* above, or leave it as "Randomly Awesome" for us to pick one at random for you.

What are those letters in parentheses after the color? That's to help us be sure we pick the right one! Each bong is boxed up and printed with a number and lettering scheme. Every color starts with "CL", which stand for: "C" meaning "Color Changing" (or Fumed), and "L" meaning "Clear" (since it can't be "C"!). Then, it's followed by another letter denoting it's color, such as "G" for Green, "B" for Blue, etc.

All Soft Glass is Finished In-House
What is "Soft Glass"? Soft Glass is a specific type of glass used to make water pipes. You may know of Borosilicate or Quartz: these are also glasses, but they're also more expensive. Soft Glass maintains a low price because, unlike more expensive glasses, it will expand faster when exposed to heat. This can make it brittle if misused, but through proper use and care you won't even know a difference!
We receive every piece of Soft Glass as, essentially, a vase. When you order a piece, we take it to a wet drill (water-fed to reduce the heat from friction) and drill a hole into a specific spot on the pipe. Then we finish it with a silicone grommet and glass downstem, so the pipe is ready to be used when you get it!
