Buy them together and you have a complete portable setup: something to dab out of, and something to load it with, in one finish, with nothing else required. If you are only buying one, buy the Hot Knife. At $60 it is the low-commitment way into the colorway, it does not care what rig you already own, and it will still be useful to you long after the Pine run is over. What Is the Puffco Proxy Core Kit Pine

The Proxy Core Kit is the smallest way Puffco has ever packaged the Proxy. Instead of the traditional glass pipe housing, the Core Kit puts the Bluetooth-enabled Proxy Base into an anodized aluminum cup with a silicone mouthpiece. No glass anywhere in the kit. Puffco calls it the slimmest Proxy setup to date, and in Pine it reads as a deep matte green rather than anything flashy.

Underneath the finish it is a real Proxy. The patented 3D chamber heats from the sides and regulates its own temperature, which is what gives the Proxy its flavor reputation in the first place. The Bluetooth base pairs to the Puffco Connect app, where you set temperature, session length, and the light. Three 4mm ceramic terp pearls come in the box to keep oil moving in the chamber, along with the Joystick Cap and USB-C charging.

• Bring the Hot Knife anyway. Even if you loaded at home, a second dab out there is a lot more likely than you think.
