Yes! The old Proxy base will still be able to fit in the new Proxy glass pieces and housings. You don't have to upgrade, but the new Proxy base does feature many improvements including bluetooth connectivity for app control.
Yes! Just like how the old Proxy base will fit in new Proxy pieces, the new Puffco Proxy base will fit in all older Proxy housings. You've got a collection of Proxy pieces, and Puffco was sure the new Proxy base can be used in them.
