- Create the Downstem Hole: Choose a side of the pumpkin to insert the downstem. Carefully carve a hole just below the top opening. The hole should be slightly smaller than the diameter of the downstem to ensure a snug fit.
- Insert the Downstem: Push the downstem into the hole you carved. It should angle down into the hollow space of the pumpkin, ensuring a tight seal. Pro Tip: Make sure your downstem is long enough and can reach below the waterline of your pumpkin (Basic Downstem $8)
- Create Mouth Piece Hole: On the opposite side of the downstem carefully carve a hole slightly smaller than the diameter of the Grav Crutch.

- Add the Bowl: Just like any another bong, attach the glass-on-glass bowl or banger to the top of the downstem. Make sure it fits securely. - Fill with Water: Pour water into the pumpkin bong until it covers the end of the downstem (about an inch deep). This will help filter the smoke.
- Pack the Bowl: Load your favorite herb into the glass bowl, packing it gently.
